Grant Overview
Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) organization in good standing.
All medical research projects must be consistent with the Foundation’s Mission and focus
areas:
• Vulvovaginal Pain Disorders
• Impact of Perimenopause and Menopause on Sexual Health
• Intimacy-Related Sexual Dysfunction After Cancer Treatment
• Libido and Sexual Desire
• Female Genital Mutilation
• LGBTQIA Health
• Endometriosis
• Pelvic Pain
Organizations prioritizing these areas related to their research will have the most
success securing a grant.
Applications for operating costs, partisan groups, individual churches, indigent care
subsidies, travel loans, or for individuals will not be accepted.
Applications will not be considered for any of the following:
• Indirect costs related to the project in excess of 10%
• Amount requested for personnel support exceeds 25%
• Reimbursement of expenses for activities completed prior to submission and/or
approval of the application
• Alcohol, personal expenses unrelated to the project, and any other costs deemed
to be unacceptable by the Foundation’s Board of Directors
• Submitted by a member of the SHE+ Foundation’s ’s Board of Directors
